Documentation Copyrighted?

Postby Matt Dee » Wed Nov 29, 2006 2:23 am

Hi, we want to put together some documentation for our clients that a) isn't in HTML and b) shows screen shots with the client's data (or as close as we can get).

Are you ok with us taking chunks of the user manual verbatim? i.e. we'll take various bits, remove the code examples, replace screen shots etc.

Cheers,

Matt.

I do not see problem with it, but really will glad to see it too. At least it should have copyright reference to original software vendor
Best regards,
