Insufficient Memory error in Delphi7

Postby henriqueberaldo » Wed Dec 15, 2010 4:38 pm

Hello Alex,
We acquired the PivotCube7 and Delphi6 worked properly. When compiled in Delphi7 the PivotCube not open, causing Insufficient Memory error. Our fact table contains about 60000 rows.
Note: When operated in Delphi6, opens the PivotCube and then write up an XML records in a folder on the station and in the next step is loading the xml to PivotCube. If we run the application in Delphi6, and then upload the data via xml Delphi7, the PivotCube works normally. The problem is the Delphi7 load directly from the database through the fact table.

What can it be?

Thanks.

Actually I have no idea. Delphi7 and Delphi6 are very similar and there should not be any differences. May be you have used FastMM for Delphi6 but not Delphi7?
Anyway 60000 recods is not so large dataset for such problem. I suppose that happens somewhere else
Best regards,

The problem was solved by switching to component ZEOS. Maybe the problem is with the BDE. Thanks. :P
