Loading map, measure aliasname containing ACCENT(bug?)

Postby DaviWall » Tue Nov 27, 2007 11:59 am

Hello,

We are having a problem when filling aliasname for a measure (TMeasureItem) with any name containing accent (ç ã for example).

I try to save (PivotMap1.SaveToFile(...)) and it's fine so far. The problem happens when I try to load this map for the same cube, this measure (the one containing ç or ã) is not loaded.

Is this problem known already ? I could reproduce using demo.exe which comes together with Delphi packages.

Thank you.
Davi Wall.

Yes, it is known :(
There is common Delphi problem with support of international symbols. You should use Unicode-compatible version of PivotCube (require TNT Unicode library) to solve that.

You may check it with version of demo.exe which come with package (Trial packages built without Unicode support!) - that should work with your characters. But after rebuild with trial - there may be problem.
